What if Life were a Video Game…?

What if I told you that your perception of “life” is really an illusion-of-reality and that you are actually a player in an immersive first-person, open-world video game?

Like every worthy game, there is a hero’s journey to traverse.

The game begins when you are born into this 3-dimensional universe. You don’t know what your unique story is or what that journey is supposed to look like - in fact, you aren’t even told that you are playing a game.

The cool twist is that you aren’t just a player character - but a sacred being who has forgotten their divine origin - and you set this game story up for yourself on purpose, to experience other levels of consciousness.

That’s right - you’re the secret game designer too.

The meta-goal of the game? To re-awaken to your sacred origins, discover the divine gifts of this (and other) lifetime(s), and to thrive as the magical Creator you already are.

There are other complex, non-random factors pre-programmed into the game as you enter: family dynamics, their capacity for meeting your early physical/mental/emotional/spiritual needs (or not), ancestral wounds, cultural environment, religious upbringing, economic status...

You have set yourself up with this unique set of life challenges that are the bones of your hero’s journey - and the channel through which you will claim your superpowers.

Every trauma or wound you have absorbed along the way is a personal quest designed just for you - each “upleveling” a mini hero’s journey of its own. And each quest (wound) you triumph over releases another discordant density from your unique quantum signature, which unlocks more latent energy in your DNA. This creates an ever-evolving feedback loop that opens you to more of your intuition and genius, which then attunes you more and more to your true Creator-essence.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention - there is a major power-up in the game too, a frequency only accessible in this 3-dimensional reality, a spiritual and energetic compass available to anyone who is willing to attune to it:

The frequency of LOVE.

If you had access to life’s game tutorial, it might look something like this:

Recognize = re-cognize (discover and reframe) the hero’s journey you have created for yourself and its major theme (mine is disempowerment)

Resolve = re-solve (release) your wounding, which dissolves the layers that are separating you from your magic

Remember = re-member (re-embody) yourself as a divine Creator, and then

Relish in your godhood, using your unique specialization to embody the frequency of love

Unlike the kind of character evolution we see in books, film, and TV, “leveling up” doesn’t have to be arduous or painful. “Pain” is often the story our primal brain makes up to explain the surge in our nervous system when past wounds are being triggered, or echoing in the present. But what if that surge was just the game’s way to alert you of a stuck emotion or density that is begging for release?

The first step is in embracing the mystery of the universe and to practice being a curious observer of your internal (emotional) experience.

In fact, from a meta-game perspective, the more you approach this journey with a sense of adventure, from a place of understanding that you, as the game’s designer, have curated this set of life experiences for yourself, the more accountability and self-compassion you invite in, and the gentler your expansion plays out.

"We may, over two sleepless nights, have entirely rethought our attitude to envy or come to an important insight about the way we behave when someone compliments us. We may have made a momentous step in self-forgiveness or resolved one of the riddles of a romantic relationship.

These quiet but very real milestones don’t get marked. We’re not given a cake or a present to mark the moment of growth. We’re not congratulated by others or viewed with enhanced respect. No one cares or even knows how caring might work. But inside, privately, we might harbor a muffled hope that some of our evolutions will be properly prized."

-The School of Life: An Emotional Education

While it might have once been true that no one cared or knew how caring might work, we are moving into an era of deeper understanding of the game and its goals.

And there are more and more waysharers out there - coaches, healers, priestesses, shamans (among others) - who know exactly how to mark the moment and properly prize this evolution to keep you moving forward.

How would your life feel different if you chose to believe that you designed this life’s experiences and its challenges on-purpose, so you could practice radical self-love and compassion, embrace your magical gifts, and shine in your own greatness?

How would you respond to your own uncomfortable emotions?
How would you perceive others as you watch them struggle in their stories?
How would your priorities be different?
Would your intimate relationship play out differently?

What would you need to finally love yourself enough to invest your time and love in your own healing and expansion? What would you need to own your part in the game?

I’d love to hear your answers to these questions - Email me and I’ll response personally…

In wholeness,
Sharon
